David was in search of a shrimp po-boy sandwich when he and Linda found Louie's Cafe just a block or two outside the north gate of LSU. Before finding their lunch stop they got to see lots of the LSU campus.  (09.19.04)

A waitress huddle. This is where the waitresses kept an eye on the cafe and shared conversations and bites to eat. Apparently they were limited to only two stools so they would crowd into this space four and five at a time.  (09.19.04)

And the food was to die for. Wow. What great sandwiches. David's po-boy had sautéed shrimp, squash, zucchini, lettuce and melted Swiss cheese. Really, really good! Perfect!  (09.19.04)
